Welcome to Dr HandyMan. These Terms of Service set out the agreement between you (“the customer”) and Dr HandyMan (“we”, “us”, “our”) when you use our website, request a quotation, or book a service. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

  • We provide handyman, plumbing, electrical, decorating, refurbishment, and property maintenance services across London.
  • The description of services and pricing will be confirmed in your quotation or booking confirmation.
  • Work will only be carried out as agreed. Any additional tasks may require a separate estimate.

2. Quotations & Estimates

  • All quotations are free and provided without obligation.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Estimates are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Changes to scope, materials, or access may alter the final cost.

3. Bookings & Appointments

  • Bookings can be made by phone, email, WhatsApp, or through our website.
  • Appointment times are subject to availability.
  • Emergency and same-day call-outs are offered but cannot be guaranteed.

4. Payments

  • Payment is due on completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, debit/credit card, and bank transfer.
  • Larger projects may require a deposit or staged payments.
  • Invoices not paid within 14 days may incur late payment charges.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a minimum call-out fee.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule in cases of unforeseen circumstances (traffic, illness, supply chain delays).

6. Guarantees & Complaints

  • We aim for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please notify us immediately so we can address it.
  • Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months unless otherwise stated. Materials are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

7. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or faults, or issues caused by misuse.
  • We cannot be held responsible for consequential losses (e.g. loss of income, rental issues) unless required by law.
  • Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
